Ruby Tuesday Too - Christmas Rubies, 1964

For Ruby Tuesday Too, where red is showcased, I recently scanned this print from Christmas Eve 1964. It is all seven Villers children in our at our East Hartford Connecticut.  Aside from the degraded print offering a reddish hue overall, there are wrapped presents in red paper, the padded railing on the playpen, red lights on the tree and sister Suzanne in her red nightwear.  Plenty of ruby red accents here!

  1. A great photo with lots of memories I'm sure.

  2. Oh, how I remember those icecicles on the tree. My mom would actually take them off and reuse them the next year. I hated taking them off of the tree and putting them back in the boxes.

  3. What a treasure to have...and, I, too, remember those icecicles...my mom wanted my brother and I to place each one ....we'd get so bored that when she left the room, we'd stand back and throw handfuls at the tree. We thought we were getting away with it but I'm pretty sure it only took one look and she'd know....LOL
